Dr. Patton graduated from the University of Washington in 1971 (Ph.D.) and has worked in the exploration industry for thirty-five years as a field geologist, consultant and executive officer of both junior and senior mining companies. His work has been primarily in North America, where he and his teams have played major roles in several significant discoveries and reserve expansions of existing operations. Before joining Quaterra on a full-time basis, Tom was President and COO of Western Silver Corporation from 1998 to May 2006. The highlights of this period were the discovery and delineation of the world-class Peñasquito silver-gold-lead zinc deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico and the subsequent sale of the company to Glamis Gold Ltd.
Mr. Hillard played a major role in the discovery of 7 million ounce Pierina gold deposit in Peru. He was the first to recognize it as a potential economic deposit, even though it had no mines or prospective pits.
In addition, Mr. Hillard took over a failing grass roots project in the jungles of Papau New Guinea, and within 10 months had drilled holes in a disseminated gold deposit, a vein with bonanza grade gold, and identified several other quality targets, including a gold-copper porphyry. Eight breccia pipe ore bodies discovered by Mr. Hillard or staff under his supervision in northern Arizona became profitable mines and nine other discoveries have similar potential.
Charles Hawley received his Ph.D. in geology from the University of Colorado in 1963. A resident of Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. Hawley has been President of Hawley Resource Group 1981 to present.
Since 1990 Mr. Robles has served as a consultant and Senior Geologist for Minera Kennecott, S.A. de C.V., the Mexican subsidiary of Kennecott Minerals Company. His focus has been in the exploration of porphyry copper deposits and he has been involved with the Western Copper-Kennecott alliance at the Penasquito and San Jeronimo Projects. In addition Mr. Robles has served as Exploration Geologist for Penoles, and has worked for Frisco, S.A. de C.V.During his time at Frisco, he was involved in the discovery of the San Felipe gold deposit in Baja California where more than one million ounces of gold was discovered.
Mr. Macdonald graduated with a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1990 and earned an MSc from the University of British Columbia in 1999. Over his career in the geosciences Mr. Macdonald's work has focused on vein and intrusion related gold systems and VMS environments. Prior to joining Rio Fortuna and Bravo Ventures, Mr. Macdonald worked as a geologist with the British Columbia Geological Survey and Teck Exploration on projects in Alaska, Peru and British Columbia.
Mr. McGrath attained his Bachelors degree in Earth Sciences from Memorial University in Newfoundland in 1992. Since then he has dedicated over 15 years to the mineral exploration industry through geosciences, education and sustainability. His background includes exploration for gold and base metals through his work on banded iron formations, VHMS deposits and lode gold systems. Brian recently joined the Manex Group after spending six years with Cumberland Resources Ltd. as an integral part of a team that brought the Meadowbank Gold Project in Nunavut to a multi-million ounce reserve. Other key positions he's held include: Mineral Resource Officer with British Columbia's Ministry of Energy and Mines, Project Geologist positions with Homestake Exploration Canada; Echo Bay Mines Ltd. and Redfern Resources.
Mr. Norman graduated with an Honors B.Sc. degree in Geology in 1973 and has extensive geological exploration experience throughout the Americas having worked as a geological consultant/employee for Canasil Resources Inc., Utah Mines Ltd, Northern Crown Ltd., Bema Gold Corporation and Eldorado Gold Corporation where he previously held the position as Exploration Manager. George has been involved in the development and resource evaluation of several producing gold mines including the Champagne Mine, Idaho, La Colorada Mine, Mexico and La Trinidad Mine, Mexico. While associated with Canasil Resources Inc. George held positions as director, Assistant to the President and geological consultant. George is currently consulting as Norman Geological and is a registered member of the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. and Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Al berta as well as a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada Cordillern Section.
Mr. Kerr holds bachelor degrees in applied science and geological engineering from the University of British Columbia. Over the course of a 30+ year career he has been continuously engaged in mineral exploration and has extensive field experience throughout North America. Mr. Kerr has been a geological consulting engineer since 1970 and has held senior positions with a number of public companies, both as an officer and director. He has been involved with the discovery of a number of significant mineral deposits, including two producing mines and two additional projects currently awaiting production decisions.
Joe Kizis, Jr. of Reno, Nevada is a past president of the Geological Society of Nevada and a graduate of the University of Colorado, Mr. Kizis has 30 years of experience in minerals exploration, both with major mining companies and with junior explorers. He has consulted to Fortune River Resource Corp. for the past two years.
Mr. Spiering has over 28 years of experience in the mining exploration industry. He most recently held the position of vice president, exploration at Rio Narcea Mines Ltd., where he managed a team that discovered two gold deposits and completed the final definition of one nickel deposit in Spain. All three of these deposits are currently in production. Prior to his tenure at Rio Narcea, Mr. Spiering held the position of senior geologist with Energy Fuels Nuclear, Inc. where his responsibilities included drilling supervision, geologic mapping, and ore reserve calculations related to uranium exploration in northern Arizona and gold exploration in western US and Venezuela. He received his Bachelor of Science-Geology degree from the University of Utah.
Mr. Dircksen has over 32 years of experience in base and precious metals deposits and industrial minerals. He has been responsible for the identification, assessment, acquisition and subsequent exploration management of five projects with have become significant metal producers including Giilt Edge Mine in South Dakota, Pinson, Preble, Stirling, and Florida Canyon mines all located in Nevada. In addition, Mr. Dircksen has been involved in the exploration and management of three future producing mines - Don Mario Project, Bolivia, Pederson Project, Bolivia and Butte Highlands in Montana.
Mr. Scammell obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of London, England and has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Scammell has held senior positions with Teck Explorations Ltd. Since the late 1980s and with Mineral Teck S.A. de C.V. since the early 1990s.
Mr. Turner graduated from Michigan Technological University and has worked as an exploration geologist in various technical and managerial capacities for thirty-four years. His work experience extends from Alaska to Ecuador and includes management of exploration projects for numerous types of precious and base metal mineral systems, both for major mining companies and junior exploration companies. For the last eleven years, he has worked exclusively in Mexico and Central America. He was a consultant to Western Silver Corporation from 1998 to 2006 and managed their Mexico exploration programs up to Western Silver's acquisition by Glamis Gold Ltd. in May, 2006. Mr. Turner initiated and subsequently managed Western Silver's Peñasquito project for five years, which culminated in the discovery of two world-class gold-silver-lead-zinc deposits and the discovery of economic gold-silver mineralization at the nearby Noche Buena project.
Prior to joining Western Silver, Mr. Turner managed Mar-West Resources Ltd.'s exploration projects in Guatemala which resulted in the discovery of the Cerro Blanco hot spring gold deposit. Cerro Blanco is currently the subject of a feasibility study by Glamis Gold Ltd., which acquired Mar-West in 1998.
Mr. Roberts has 40 years experience in the mineral exploration sector, holding positions of both directorships and vice-president, exploration, for several junior public listed issuers. Mr. Roberts has had a successful record of building mineral inventory for companies and participated in the discovery of the Marigold mine in Nevada, and one of Canada's largest zinc deposits, the Cirque deposit, in British Columbia. Most recently, he was a principal of Badger & Co. Management Corp., a private company providing full-range financial, corporate and geological management services to public junior exploration companies operating nationally and internationally.
John Brock, based in Vancouver, is a UBC geology and geophysics graduate and has over 40-years service in an executive role with public junior exploration companies. He has participated in major mineral deposit discoveries in Yukon (lead/zinc), Nunavut (uranium), British Columbia (copper/gold), Nevada (gold), Mexico (gold), Ecuador copper/gold), Sumatra (zinc) and Mongolia (uranium). He has also played a significant role in the equity financing of public companies under his management. Over the last 10 years he facilitated the funding of 5 public companies in the amount of $122 million.
Related to his public company exploration experience John Brock served 4 years as a governor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange, 2 years on the board of the CDNX Exchange and 2 years on the TSX Venture Exchange Advisory Board. In recognition of his contributions to Canadian mineral exploration and finance he is a recipient of the 1993 CIMM Sproule Award, the 1999 BC and Yukon Chamber of Mines President's Award, the 2002 Pezim Award and the 2006 Cambridge House Lifetime Achievement Award. Today, through J.Badger Consulting, John Brock continues with his public mineral exploration company involvement, serving on several Boards of Directors and acting as Senior Consultant to the Manex Resources Group in Vancouver.
Lawrence Page obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1964 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1965 where he has practiced in the areas of natural resource law and corporate and securities law to the present date. Through his experience with natural resource companies and, in particular, precious metals development, Mr. Page has established a unique relationship with financiers, geologists and consultants and has been counsel for public Companies which have discovered and developed producing mines in North America.
Specifically, he has been a Director and Officer of Companies which have discovered and brought into production the David Bell and Page Williams mines in Ontario, the Snip, Calpine/Eskay Creek and Mascot Gold Mines in British Columbia as well as the discovery of the Penasquito Mine in Mexico.
Mr. Page is the principal of the Manex Resource Group of Vancouver which provides administrative, financial, corporate and geological services to a number of public companies in the mineral resource sector. He currently serves as a director for six public companies, including Bravo Venture Group Inc., Duncastle Gold Corp., Fortune River Resource Corp., Quaterra Resources Inc., Southern Silver Exploration Corp. and Valterra Resource Corporation.

Dr. Patton is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the American Institute of Mining & Metallurgical Engineers.
Mr. Swenarchuk serves as an officer of several public companies. He joined Manex Resource Group Inc. early in 1998 bringing with him more than 25 years of successful practice in the corporate and investor relations sectors of the natural resources industry. He is President of Rescom Consultants Ltd., which he founded in 1980 to provide a range of financial and investor services to public companies. Over the past 25 years he has been involved in arranging financing for mining exploration and development projects in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan and China. He has extensive financial community contacts throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Joe Kizis, Jr. of Reno, Nevada is a past president of the Geological Society of Nevada and a graduate of the University of Colorado, Mr. Kizis has 30 years of experience in minerals exploration, both with major mining companies and with junior explorers. Dr. Gayton, F.C.A., graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1962 with a Bachelor of Commerce and in 1964 earned the chartered accountant (C.A.) designation while at Peat Marwick Mitchell. Dr. Gayton joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of British Columbia in 1965, beginning 10 years in the academic world, including time at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Ph.D. in Business. Dr. Gayton rejoined Peat Marwick Mitchell in 1974 and became a partner in 1976 where he provided audit and consulting services to private and public company clients for 11 years. Dr. Gayton has directed the accounting and financial matters of public companies in the resource and non-resource fields since 1987.

Mr. Hean served as Chief Financial Officer for the Manex Group of companies for the last three years. Prior to joining the company, he held senior management and executive positions with Bank of Montreal as Senior Vice President and Managing Director responsible for financing in the natural resources sectors in North America and with J.P. Morgan of New York, primarily financing junior oil and gas companies in the United States. Currently he is a Director and past Chair of the Audit Committee, Sabina Silver Corporation (SBB on TSX-V), a Director of Southern Silver Exploration Corp. and Chair, Bill Reid Foundation Services Ltd. He has served on numerous not-for-profit Boards, including Outward Bound and B.C. Children's Hospital. Graduating from Simon Fraser University in 1973 (B.A.) and from the Ivey School of Business (M.B.A.) , London , Ontario , in 1975 and from the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program (ICD.D) in 2006.
Mahesh Liyanage joins the Company with over 10 years of experience in public practice and industry. He is a Chartered Accountant and has headed finance and audit teams nationally and internationally. He started his career with BDO Burah Hathy Sri Lanka and held a supervisory role leading audits in manufacturing, banking, and natural resource industries. Before moving to McDonald’s Fiji as head of finance he served as controller for a garment manufacturing company which catered to the North American market.
In McDonald’s Fiji he pioneered the implementation of accounting systems and revitalized office structures, document flows and inter-department relationships in order to achieve excellence and profitability.

Lei Wang, B.Sc., CGA, is a Certified General Accountant with over 10 years international experience in nature resource sector. Prior to joining Manex Resource Group, Ms. Wang acted as Controller to Pacgen Biopharmaceuticals and before Pacgen, Ms. Wang served as Office Manager to Pine Valley Mining Corp., a coal company listed on the TSX and the NASDAQ. Ms. Wang has been integrally involved in all areas of financial reporting, corporate finance activities, and related aspects of regulatory compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and TSX listing. Ms. Wang received her Bachelor of Science degree in China and her professional accounting designation from the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia, Canada.
